Bernard K. Mensah school visits

Stories children can step into

School and library visits with Bernard K. Mensah - Ghanaian-British children's author and founder of Haberman Nerds Press.

Read. Wonder. Create.

Expressive read-alouds, conversations about stories and Ghanaian heritage, and creative activities shaped around your pupils. Bernard writes picture books including Esi the Brave, Jollof Day and Kente for Jojo, plus Kwame's Magic Quest for emerging readers.

Choose a visit that fits

1. Storytelling and Q&A: meet an author, explore a book and ask questions.
2. Creative workshop: build ideas through talk, drawing or writing, with the age group agreed in advance.
3. Virtual visit: a live reading and conversation for schools beyond the UK.

Plan together

Tell Bernard your year groups, pupil numbers, location, preferred dates and any access needs. Agree the session length, learning focus, room setup and optional book signing before booking.
