Raconté par l'aîné, la famille se rend dans un atelier de tissage traditionnel à Bonwire, au Ghana, où le frère apprend la légende du Kente — comment l'araignée Ananse a inspiré deux chasseurs à tisser — et essaie même le métier à tisser lui-même. Quand son tissage tourne un peu mal, l'imperfection devient ce qui rend le Kente de Jojo vraiment spécial.
